Event Production Manager/Project Developer


This position will develop and deliver quality company projects through collaborative development of high-level production campaigns. This individual will lead a team to translate client requirements into proposals that demonstrate an understanding of the clients’ business needs. This person must be an excellent listener and effective facilitator who ensures that deliverables meet the requirements of the client, add value to the client and meet our company quality standards. The Event Production Manager is personable, forward thinking, strategic, able to anticipate and identify issues as well as propose alternate solutions for ambiguous situations. They are accountable for meeting critical client deadlines and delivering on TRP client commitments.

Essential Job Responsibilities



  • Manages, coordinates and executes multi-functional, large-scale projects from conception through delivery and completion, ensuring smooth interactions between all parties.

  • Collaborates with account executive and clients to clarify objectives, strategize towards unique campaign development, and fully understands the client’s business including industry
    trends, organization and customer needs

  • Assists in confidently developing and delivering presentations with creative team support both as a leader and team supporter

  • Successfully foresees and regulates potential obstacles and produces quick solutions including extremely effective problem solving skills.

  • Identify and secure third-party vendors as necessary and negotiate according to client’s objectives and overall budget

  • Markets new project ideas to clients that align with their business, customer and brand goals

  • Continually maintain a growing knowledge of industry trends, market leaders and new products/services as related to developing technology, ideation, and competitor practices.

  • Actively consults with team members and account managers to determine best and appropriate action if obstacles arise.

  • Creates, manages, adheres to and reconciles project budgets

  • Strategic thought leader and relationship builder with current and perspective clients

  • Responsible liaison for all communications in project changes, direction, status, etc., to all involved parties

  • Consistently upholds and provides quality service to clients so as to solidify and promotes continuous business development and ongoing relationships

  • Supports new business initiatives with current and perspective clients while servicing and growing existing client accounts

  • Ably serve as on-site technical director


Qualifications



  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree in theater, media production, communications project management or arts/media management

  • 5-10 years of client facing event production management experience

  • Able to manage projects from ideation to activation.

  • Must be comfortable with frequent travel

  • Extremely detail oriented with superb organization skills

  • Experienced in budget management/development

  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, ideally with client-facing/pitching experience and agency exposure

  • Able to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects and work with tight deadlines

  • Comfortable serving in a technical director role/TD experience a plus

  • Hands-on audio/video capabilities strongly preferred

  • Entrepreneurial spirit; willing to work above and beyond expectations to achieve results

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • A motivated, results-oriented “whatever-it-takes” attitude and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

  • Perceptive, adaptable, and resourceful, able to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems, mitigate risk and work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions to address challenges

  • Proven leader with a refined understanding of the integration of marketing, creative, account planning, and supporting customer analytics to deliver high impact results

  • Strong listening and presentation skills and prior experience presenting to Executives and their direct reports

  • Comfort with an entrepreneurial, creative culture

  • An enthusiastic, energetic advocate for the best people, the best ideas and the best cross-functional process to drive client results

  • Strong leadership skills

  • CAD is a plus
